Hester Woods has spent her entire life seeking revenge. Her father's bad spending habits landed her back in her late mother's hometown- Ravenwood. The place where Hester is sure this whole magic business began. Her suspisions are all but confirmed when she hears a rumor on her first day of school. A rumor about the ghost of a girl named Anadil, murdered during the sixteen hundreds. A story eerily similar to her own. And when Hester seeks this ghost out, she finds herself trapped in a much bigger spider web than she had initially anticipated...
