Part 1

Foreign exchange student Sven Bergstrom meets cute Tina Winslow on the Cal Tech campus, and sparks and confetti fly. A struggle with the English language and a misread taco sauce packet lands Sven in a heap of trouble. To avoid a trip down the aisle, he belatedly tells Tina of his mistake, and the resulting fallout lands him a lonely seat at the popular eatery Nacho Belle. Will Sven have to eat his words? Will he be able to put spice back into his relationship with Tina? Can restauranteur Maria Cortez save the day?
