A compilation of poems. *** We live in a wonderful yet imperfect world. Behind those pretty flowers, lovely chirping birds, beautifully sang music, amazing paintings and masterpieces, and breath-taking sceneries, are heinous events, crimes, sadness, depression, anxiety, illness, and all in all, DARKNESS. The world, somehow, is in pastel colours and hue. But at the end of the day, in the shade of gray. There were days when we smile & laugh, and then there were also days when we get sad & cry. There were days when you just wanted to see all the beautiful colours in the world; the dancing "dandelions" in the field; the turquoise colour of the sea, and the vibrant colour of the setting sun. But there were also times when you wanted to just stay in the dark. Star-gazing and wishing upon a star. Sitting while hugging your knees, savouring the peace and quietness of the serene view that the darkness brings, never-minding the chills that the nightly breeze brings to your skin. There is nothing wrong with laughing when you feel like it and that you feel happy, the same way that there is also nothing wrong with getting upset that you end up crying. Don't be too harsh on your self. Whatever you're going through right now, I know you can get past it and that you can do it. Just trust, have strong faith, and believe. Enjoy beauty, laugh and smile, savour peace, but still, cry. Do not ever be afraid of expressing your emotions, everything that you feel! Be free and feel free!
