Chapter 1: Hero

She stepped up when the world needed a hero, but she never thought it would cost her this much. After Dalton's death she never wanted to fall in love again, it seemed to be better that way. That was until Wren. There was something about him, something mysterious... something familiar. Maybe a little to familiar. But not everything is as it seems. Not her relationship. Not her past and certainly not her intentions. Not all heroes are who they pretend to be and not all Villains are truly Villains... but some are.
