This is the story of a budding author embarrassing herself in front of her superhero crush, Bruce Banner. December Brighton is a girl who loves to hide behind her words. She's a budding author known for her mystery novels and funny bookish tweets, and privately, she's also known for having a major thing for rumored superhero and renowned scientist, Bruce Banner. Dr. Bruce Banner was recently recruited to S.H.I.E.L.D. by Nick Fury after Loki stole the tesseract, but playing the hero can't cover up the fact that he feels like a monster. Using his professional title and scientific knowledge as a shield, he tries to run away from the beast inside him, all while watching out for the small woman who seems to see him for all he can be, instead of just the things he hates. Bruce and December both had seen plenty of horrors during their unassuming pasts, but it would take another shattered soul to show them why they had to take the first step to glueing it all back together again.
