Alyssa is book smart and clueless when it comes to things in the outside world. All she cares about are her grades and why should she bother about anything else when she's got the football team's handsome quarter back as her boyfriend, right? But Alyssa's fantasy comes crashing down when she finds out, Bennet, her boyfriend is cheating on her with the last person she expected. Alyssa feels even more stupid when she finds out literally everyone in the school knows about it, except her and her frustration and heartbreak knows no bounds, until Cameron comes along. Cameron has never had a reason to like Alyssa, and the fact that she was his step brothers girlfriend didn't even cut it. So when Cameron approaches her to fake date to make his step brother realize his mistake and also see what he's missing out on, Alyssa is skeptical about the whole deal.
