In Taisho-era Japan, kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal, but falls ill the day he's meant to be selling charcoal. So, his little sister Nezuko goes instead. But tragedy strikes, and Nezuko and Tanjiro's lives are shattered when a demon slaughters their entire family. Tanjiro is the only survivor, but he has been transformed into a demon himself! Nezuko sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return her brother to normal and destroy the demon who ruined her life.
