Prologue: On Broken Wings

A sassy savvy perfume campaign ad model, Allegra Cole, finds herself stranded in the open wilderness when her plane to a scheduled shooting site malfunctions and crashes killing all of those on board aside from her, barely clinging to life after pulling herself from the wreckage, she is rescued by a skillful woodsman who calls himself "Silas" nurses her back to health in his nearby cabin, in the wake of her road to recovery, she finds out her that there is more to her "knight in shining armor" than she initially believed like a mysterious connection to a missing wealthy family and a peculiar ailment that seemed to only take hold during the full moon.
