The new man who recently moved in next door was handsome, and although his temper was a bit odd, he seemed like a nice person. He gave me some gifts a day after he moved in and said it was since he was new to the neighborhood. But I've never seen him give anything else to the other neighbors...and besides, his gifts were kind of...odd? A toothbrush and shampoo? I threw them away. In addition to his odd gifts, his temperament would change sometimes during the middle of our conversation. He says it's because he's unwell, but I suspect he needs to be put into a mental asylum. ... I was wrong! He should be put in jail! "How long are you going to keep writing in that journal of yours?" A deep and magnetic voice grumbled behind me, the dissatisfaction in it making my toes curl. "It's time to go to bed, darling." A pair of hands that were larger than mine took the pen away from my own and slid the journal closed. "Hey! I wasn't done writing that! Give it back to me, I told you that you get to sleep alone today!" "I'm sorry wife, I'll be gentler next time, okay? I'll put away the toys you don't like."
