Being the youngest, and only girl in house Hofferson, Astrid's fate is already set in stone the moment she was born. At the young age of ten, she travelled from the cold and mostly winter Northern Kingdom to the Kingdom of Berk to be betrothed to the King's heir and only son who is rumored to be mentally sick. Nevertheless, she has to fulfill her destiny and purpose, and represent her family as best she could in Berk, and meet her future husband, the young Crown Prince Hiccup.
