Origin Story

Set in the year 2050, this suspenseful short story takes place in the middle of the night in the Black Mountains of the rogue country Norak, where a team of biologically enhanced American special operations soldiers have been sent on a top secret mission to stop Norak from connecting their weapons systems to an artificial intelligent agent. The story unfolds through the narration of the brain upload letter that the only female special operations soldier on the mission writes to her parents. Her unit is the only hope the world has left between world peace and weapons of mass destruction being controlled by the whims of an autonomous AI agent.
