Description
Story One in the Starship Promise Retellings Series. When the foster daughters of Zaid and Aeron Thenders, Nayla Ross, Qwynn Byrne, and Tatum Locke's, home colony, Olympus 7, is attacked by The Empire, specifically with the purpose to capture the three girls and the family's secret Crystal, which is the key to stopping an Evil entity that is consuming the universe, the sisters attempt to get the Crystal off the colony. After nearly dying in her attempt to keep herself and the Crystal out of the hands of the Empire, Nayla Ross is saved by the famous Jaxon Silva, a bounty hunter. Except he did more than save her life, he also stole the Crystal right from under her nose! Nayla followed Jaxon to the spaceport where she meets up with her sisters, and after some heavy firefight with Empire soldiers and a fearsome Cyborg, Jaxon and his crew of the Starship Promise, called simply 'The Promise', takes the sisters and the Crystal aboard their ship and flee Olympus 7. Although the sisters are now away from the clutches of the evil Empire, they have another problem on their hands. How are they going to get the Crystal back from the crew of The Promise? Or is the crew of The Promise actually going to be willing to help them in their crusade to stop the Evil entity?
