In 1995, the world was introduced to a race of humans with extraordinary abilities called "Alpha-humans." There is one Alpha-human, Jared Callan AKA Sonic Man, who possesses the ability to run at incredible speeds. He used his powers to not only also fight crime, but also fight other Alpha-humans like him. His son, Donnie found out he's a Alpha-human with speed like his father. Jared would began training Donnie and passed his responsibilities as Reywood City's protector to him, leading Donnie to become the Scarlet Quickster, Fast-Dash.
