Octavia Wilson wasn't a known star of any variety, but despite that, she'd been going to the famed "Camp Rock" almost her entire life. She was often classified as 'book smart' instead of 'street smart.' She knew how to speak seven languages fluently, could play four instruments, and knew how to take care of business when necessary, but she couldn't fight to save her life, had crippling stage fright, and was a determined people pleaser.

Everything in her life changed when she was told that this year at camp was supposed to be different. Star of band Connect 3, Shane Gray had gotten in trouble with the press, so he had to stay at camp rock, and presumably begrudgingly agreed to duet with whoever won the final jam, more commonly known as the biggest competition in music camp history. But her life wasn't changed just because of Shane, but also changed by Nate and Jason Gray, Mitchie Torres, and Layla Stratford.
