After meeting in a bar on a very drunken night, Riley bumps into Natasha an entire year down the track at one of her favourite coffee spots in New York City.

Despite only interacting briefly, the two of them feel as though they've known each other forever and end up developing such strong feelings for one another that it scares Riley.

With deep seated childhood trauma, Riley's never truly let herself fall in love, despite being 29 years old. She's always been too afraid of getting her heart broken. She's never had someone to trust before, which in turn means she subconsciously sabotages her relationship.

Things only worsen when she finds out that Natasha isn't exactly who she says she is.
