Cameron has come home from his tour of duty but not all together. Missing one leg and fighting against his PTSD, Cameron tries to find his place in the town he once called home. Skylar, Cameron's childhood friend and crush, helps him to get his feet under him.

But there's something stalking and hunting the folks of Dixon, Wyoming. Cameron encounters it on cold night and survives the encounter. From that night on, he investigates on what it could be and discovers that Skylar's family is involved.
