Rue was not expecting his FEBRUARY VACATION to start like this. Three weeks of vacation. Gone. Because of course today is the day he finds that magic is real. Because of course today is the day he has to find a glowing book. Because of course today is the day that he has to fight monsters the size of red wood trees. Because of course today is the day that he has to fight paranormal beings. Of course today is the day he has to get an anime protagonist for a god dam best friend. Luck just decided "hey this is a normal twelve year old kid. Lets hand him a sword and send him off to do battle with straight up giant ants and cthulhu." Now he has to spend his vacation making sure that the magic world and the normal world don't mix. It was his fault so I guess it was his duty to keep the town of wane safe. Killing monsters is his job and his past time. Double win am I right?
