[For @esthetiquecommunity 's monthly contest, March-April 2024] A chapter of her life hidden in the darkest corners of her heart resurfaced when he returned. Scores unsettled and demons lurking around, Amaya finds herself confronting her past she never wished to revisit in the most haunting nightmares. Demons lurk around untamed and unleash their wrath in the moments you least expect. Amaya's demons too surfaced unexpectedly, but this time around she could not hide. She has to learn to fight, fight for herself, fight for her family, and never let those demons consume her. A journey of learning and unlearning. A journey of confronting self. A journey of understanding, a journey of love, and most importantly, a journey of discovering her roots. The roots she was unaware of until now.
