Centuries ago, then their bloodlines first began, Cerberus was born with a brother not so different from he. Orthrus was a hellhound with multiple heads just as he did but, instead of three, Orthrus had two. During that lifetime her Lady Harpnus decided to entrust a herd of sacred cattle to the two-headed brother Orthrus. Seeing as she was a deity, Orthrus saw no reason to disagree. The brothers had then parted ways and since then the descendants of Orthrus have stood stationary and cared for the herd with pride. Orie had been no different. They spent their days carefully caring for the ageless cattle, tending to every need and want they were to have with great joy and pride. Orie never seemed to have a problem with their job and was fine doing this for the rest of their life. It wad assumed they'd do it for the rest of their life- they were definitely supposed to/ but one day their father had usurped the responsibility right from under their feet and gave them a new job; a job as a Babyls student.
