Hot shot is 5 years old and was happy to have been adopted last year. He loves his new parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. They love him too. They live in Fort Worth Texas. Hot shot is a very active and playful child. However soon he starts to feel unwell. His parents take him straight to Cook Children's ER. There they do some tests and Hot shot is diagnosed with choroid plexus carcinoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer. At the hospital he makes friends with four other children his age. They decide to fight their cancer together and become the best of friends. They are determined to win too! (humanized)
