The unicorn Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville by her mentor Princess Celestia. When she arrives, she meets Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Together they grow close and learn what the magic of friendship is.
