Prologue

Hoping for a life change after her mother's death, shy Brooklyn Hale moves from a small town in Oregon to Colorado to attend one of the most elite boarding schools in the country, Eastwood Academy. There, she meets notorious bad boy River St. Claire. Against her better judgment, Brooklyn finds herself drawn to him, even though from the moment they meet, Brooklyn and River cannot seem to go a day without clashing. She knows she should stay away, but his magnetic pull and deep green eyes haunt her thoughts and consume her desires.
