Kai the protagonist is from South America but his parents are both from Japan his parents "abandoned" him so he doesn't know much about them but wants to know more so he decided to go to Japan trying to know more about them he has a picture of one of them in a hero suit and a number 1 on his suit and UA at the bottom of it. So he came to Japan hoping for answers
His personality is bubbly, sweet and cheery but can be cold to people who are mean or hurt people that he cares about He has a dog on his journey named Kochi
