"Boom! The door opened with a bang. The shadow of a man appeared, holding a gun in his bleeding hand. The other hand's fist was clenched so hard that the veins were evident. His eyes were bloodshot red, and he wore a suit. His white shirt bore bloodstains, and his black coat and pants were covered in dust. Bloodstains not his own adorned his forehead. A man came running towards him with a log of wood. He grabbed it, lifted the man by his neck, and threw him down hard. "Agh," he yelled as a bullet hit his arm. He shot two bullets back, hitting the man who fired the gun in the head. He then kicked open another door. "Sorry sir we are sorry aap le jaein apni beti ko yahan se hum se ghalti ho gai maaf kar dein humein," the man pleaded. He approached, raising the man's face with his gun. "Lao usey," he said, groaning, in a deep, dark voice. "Babaaaa!" She hugged him from behind, bringing a smile to his face. Sikander Shehryar turned, lifted his daughter, and made her sit on his shoulder. While walking away, he pointed the gun toward the man behind him, pulling the trigger until the gun emptied. Aina rested her face on his shoulder. "I love you, baba." He held her hand and kissed it. "Baba loves you more, Aina." This story is about Sikander Shehryar, a father, and his daughter, Noor ul Ain Sikander aka Aina and how they maneuver through the challenges life throws at them and fight for justice and truth to prevail. Some urdu novels including the novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo inspire some instances. English is not my first language so apologies for any grammar or vocabulary mistake.
