Azrael was just a child when his village was attacked by the King's army... his mother was killed by the army as more other adults in the village. The army took al the children and put them on training all day while others were sold to other rich barons from the kingdom. Azrael was raised to become a soldier, and sure enough, he gained the trust of the king to become Leonard's personal guard. Leonard is an illegitimate son of the Kings... his mother as well was killed by the king's hands, but Leonard was kept alive since he was the only son the king had. The kingdom itself has a queen, but she only gave birth to girls, and the king stated that if there is no boy born until the war is over, Leonard will become the prince of the kingdom.
