Description
This is the story of a girl who has always been misunderstood, even by her parents. Bubbles has had a hard life, even as a child. Being raised by a single mother and not having her father around has negatively impacted her life and the decisions she makes. Her mother did her best to give her what she needed, but later on she figures out she can't depend on her either. Just like any other family in the black community, she deals with generational issues on both sides. She has no idea how to cope with everything going on in her life. She's an aspiring chef with so much going for her. Then comes along a boy to take all her troubles away. Will she allow him to love her or will she continue doing what she's always done: pushing him away out of fear of being hurt/taken advantage Of? This is their love story. Will they be triumphant? Or let the weight of the world take them down?
