𝐀𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐘𝐄𝐍 was born three years before his sister, Rhaenyra. The Seven Kingdoms and House Targaryen rejoiced at his birth, for he was the second dragonborn child to be born among the Forty Families of Old Valyria since the legendary Aether the Destroyer-born of the gods-perished shortly before the Doom of Valyria.

However, to the disappointment of many, his egg did not hatch. That is, not until the end of King Jaehaerys I's reign and the fall of his bloodline.
