Soldiers aren't supposed to have attachments. But when Konig finds himself in a dark place, he's desperate to latch onto any warmth. That's why he grows so attached to a dim candlelight, a female doctor who never shared her name with him. Growing obbessed in captivity with a woman he shouldn't have, his mind and heart only yearns for him. He convinces himself he is still a man of reason, but when he sees her again, will he really be able to hold back an animalistic side to him? Or will his obbession with her send them both down an abyss of self-destruction?
