Ensign Harry Kim discovers a printed and framed holoimage of a mysterious woman in Lt. Tom Paris's quarters when he goes to get something for the conn officer, he returns for the holoimage when Tom is on the holodeck and is talking about it with Janeway, Chakotay, Tuvok, Neelix and Kes.
Tom Paris returns to his quarters to find the holoimage of his wife gone, he goes to the Mess Hall to hope someone will help him when he some of the crew surrounding Harry.
Neelix notices Tom, Harry hands the holoimage back to him and Tom tells the story of the woman.
