Ryan is walking down the corridors of East High when he comes across yet another argument between Chad and Troy about theater. After the captain of the basketball team leaves, he approaches Chad, trying to explain that there's nothing wrong with liking to sing and dance. Ryan's real intention, however, is linked to feelings he's been hiding for some time.
