Prologue

Rhea Dillion was never given the choice of having a normal life like everyone else. She was never allowed to stray away from the path her parents gave her in fear of being rejected by the two people who were supposed to protect her. All she wanted was an out from this nightmare she was living. Then comes Rafael Bautista and Hiroko Nakamura.
Rafael is everything you could ever want in a man. Hot, smart, a smooth talker, but most of all he was Rhea's academic rival. Ever since their first year in college Rafael has always beaten Rhea for the top spot in the school (which her parents never let her forget about). She hated Rafael more than she cared to admit. That is until he offers her the deal of a lifetime, "Be my fake fiancé for six months and I'll set you free." This sounded too perfect to her, maybe because it was.
There were only two slightly major problems that he forgot to mention, one that he was already engaged in and two he was part of one of the biggest mafia groups known in history.
Then came Hiroko, the fiancé. At first, she hated Rhea, thought she was just a homewrecker who had ruined everything. But, as she comes to know Rhea, she finds that her feelings go a little deeper than hatred.
When the three of them decide to form an alliance, they only had one goal in mind: sweet freedom. They thought it would be easy but being in the mafia is more complicated than it seems. There are always eyes watching, always a bigger plan in motion. Now, all that's left is wondering if they can survive and finally be free from this nightmare.
