Grace has a normal life, until when she was 15 and her life changes drastically for better or for the worst she doesn't know yet. As she survives through her first hunger games she thinks she's free until her president announces she will be going into the hunger games again.

She meets new people, learns secrets and maybe finds someone that can help her survive the quarter quell and her life.
