The Role of a Library Professional in times of need

When everybody has a right to learn about a subject or concept or anything without any filter, does it also allow them to be influenced and modify their beliefs ? Is censorship necessary ? Well, if censorship is necessary it clearly means that the audience tend to assort to wrong means with the information they encounter.
