Chapter 1: Welcome Home

It's summer; and it begins with Jackie Howard leaving a note in her bedroom. Begins with Alex Walter finding said note, and immediately pins the blame on his older, hot-headed brother, Cole Walter. Tensions are high. So when a not-so-new girl, (Y/n), returns to Colorado to work for their mother, Katherine Walter, as a veterinary assistant and part-time ranch hand, she becomes entangled in drama, jealousy, and love.
