Elva's life was perfect. Loving parents, a fiancee she had been promised to since birth, all the dresses and jewels she could hope for. Everything is perfect until she wakes up and finds herself floating in the middle of her room, sweat thick as blood. Named one of the Xarhal, a descendant of forbidden magic- Elva is banished from her home and sent to the Prison City of Gurazan, where the only hope of escape is decades of labour. As Elva fights to get out, she finds her alliegences; and her view of herself and her newfound magic- changing. What does it take to change a Kingdom?
