Prologue: The Man at The Bus Stop

Veronica has had it hard the moment she met that man. At first nothing seemed too strange just some chatty guy at the bus stop, but as soon as she stepped one foot on her doorstep life as she knew it was lost, and replaced with this hellscape. Is she dead? Who knows. But there is light at the end of the tunnel as a certain ace detective is able to give her the chance of a normal life, but can she go back to a normal life? Is it even possible for her? Who knows...
