Day's grandmother's death, Day received a bracelet with a chain connected to a ring both the ring and bracelet were in the shape of a phoenix. after Day puts the bracelet on her body changes, first it is her hair then it is her eyes. A week after she receives the bracelet a special moon happens and that changes Day's life for either good or bad
