Chapter 1

(NOT COMPLETE) After the Descent, Algoria stiffened itself and sought to purge all the Descended and the near-Descended from their glorious capital. Families were torn apart, friends vanished in the night, crime and poverty sprung up all around the bubble of control. Somewhere in there, hope does burn in the hearts of the Discarded. A house, one of legend that could cure the Descended if you could reach it. This hope burns especially in the heart of one such Discarded, 16 year old Scarlet as she is forced to find a cure for her tiny brother. Will they find this foreign sanctuary or will the Purge reach them before its too late?
