Amara Croft has always been a curious one. Her sense of adventure is unmatched. Bad decisions lead her to a person she doesn't quite know if she can ever forget, and a secret which might be too damning to keep. This secret could cost her the life she so desperately wants to live, but who would ever believe her? She's a liar after all. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Due to the First World War, Aria Croft and her family migrate to the Rhineland. However, things get hard once the Great Depression hits. Spiralling inflation courses through all European countries, leaving its populous to fend for themselves. Facing starvation, eviction and disease, Aria Croft does the one thing she can think of. Why, she goes to work of course. However, she does this in an alter ego. What she doesn't expect is the war which is about to ensue; a war in which a woman will have to fight in the alter ego of a man.
