Ever since she was a child, Tala Brillantes has considered herself to be the best. Born with the rare ability blessed by the stars, she's used to hearing praises. Be it from her family, to her friends, to even her teachers and peers in school. While being in the limelight can get tiring after a while, she wasn't one to complain. After all, she has everything she could ever wish for. That was until her rival, Noctis Nakagawa, recently bested her in one of their tests. It shouoldn't threaten her that much, but the pressure from her parents and her title as the girl who has never been topped, her competitive nature pushes her further into their rivalry. Noctis was never one to pursue competition. Now that he has, it seems like her academic rival has more than he lets on, and perhaps figuring them out can help her regain her old spotlight. Despite that, she's confident this competition will be easy especially with the stars being on her side. After all, she herself is a star. And she plans to stay that way.
