It had been haunting to wake up with no memories.

Three hundred years feeling like you've been missing a piece of your life, ought to take a toll on anyone; Atticus included. He'd all but given up on figuring out what happened to him and the silent resignation left him distraught filled with dreams of strangers.

But when the first vampires return, Atticus feels as though they may hold the key to figuring out his past but all is not what it seems when the arrival of the first also bring vampire-killing monsters.
