"It hurts so much to love you, I almost died." I, Maxine Reyes, am a law student, and life hasn't been easy for me. Loving Andre Matt brought its own challenges. I thought studying law would bring me closer to him, even though I wasn't keen on it at first. The thing is, I've been through some rough times with men in the past, and it messed me up pretty bad. Akala ko ay hanggang doon na lang iyon. Pero mas malaki ang kinagulantang ko sa mga nasagap kong balita. I found myself increasingly falling in love with him, unaware of my surroundings. Nalugmok ako noon, nanghina, nawalan ng gana na mabuhay muli. But something changed in me. I found my courage again. I realized I didn't have to keep chasing after Andre's attention. I needed to focus on my own dreams. So, I went back to studying law with determination. It's been hard, with all those memories still haunting me. But I know I deserve better than just pining after someone who doesn't feel the same. I'm learning to put myself first and chase my own happiness.
