"You."

"Me?" I answer nervously. I held my breath as I looked into the dragons eyes.

"I choose you."

I've been waiting for this day since I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of one day having my own dragon. Joining the riders squad means bonding a dragon and protecting my people. My home.
All the training will lead to that moment.
I just have to survive... Which is easier said than done.
I'm learning there's deeper secrets than just fighting in our army and not everyone can be trusted.
Love.. pain.. loss.. lies..
At the end of the day my dragon decides who lives and who dies.
