It's so easy....it's almost cruel.

The minds of man...so horrifically simple...so tragically obvious.

A few bats of my eyelashes, a mischievous smirk on my lips... a quick flip of my hair, or a small shifting of my thighs...that's all it takes for me to bring an entire town to its knees. It's hardly even my fault, at that point... it's simply natural selection, and I just so happen to be higher on the food chain than most.

It's been the same for centuries. Me on top...humans on their knees in adoration... in worship. Mayhem...lust...slaughter...manipulation. It's my life...it's what I'm accustomed to...it's how I survive.

But now... now, times are changing.

My way of life is in jeopardy...I dance dangerously close to the edge of extinction...and I am truly fearful, which is a sensation I haven't experienced once in the past millennia.

All because I happened to stumble upon two....interesting... brothers.

They were simple prey...or so I'd thought. They were meant to be just means to an end...a catalyst to my continued destruction.

They were meant to be MY playthings.

And yet, their very existence threatens my ability to breathe air...their sole purpose in life is to annihilate creatures like me....and if they were to learn my truth...they'd separate my head from my neck without a second thought. One slip up...and they will be the death of me.

Which is a fairly intriguing situation to be in.... considering that for some fucking reason....I feel like I'd die without them anyway.
