Prologue

Kamau the fellisio has always wanted to follow in his parents' footsteps as a Steward, a valiant protector of Sonaria's ecosystems. On the very day his training begins, disaster strikes and Kamau is forced to flee the only home he's ever known to save himself and his unhatched brother. But a new home does not offer him safety. A dark and ancient horror is rising again, and Kamau, his brother Gailen, and their allies must answer the call.
But danger lurks around every corner, and the intrepid pack will have to be tested to their limits if they want to make it out alive, and even maybe save Sonaria itself.
