Five years ago, Melanie fell in love with Miko, an attractive mechanic she met by chance. After finding out his deepest darkest secret, Melanie's friends and family convinced her to move back to her home city to get away from the journalist who wanted to know more about the 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘳's girlfriend. Even though she didn't want to believe it, she needed a fresh start. Which meant she needed to leave everything behind... 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. Including the only thing she had left of Miko, the one thing he never found out about.

Now, working as a full time English teacher for foreign college students, Melanie lives comfortably, for the most part. Coping while the past haunts her thoughts and dreams. However the word got out that Miko, the one she has been trying to forget, was released from the facility they were holding him in early.

With maintaining new relationships, as well as rekindling the old ones, will Melanie meet Miko again? Did he change? What are his intentions?
