Description
Chris McCoy is a man with a dark past. While he may have accepted that fact at one point, and waited until someone brought him to his maker, he has decided on a different course of action. Now all he wants is to find somewhere to live out the rest of his life, however short it may be. Yet where can he go where the locals will accept a gunfighter and known murderer. Even if they did accept him, what will he do with his life, and can he ever learn to love another human? Sara Hemmingway is a bright young seamstress looking for some adventure in her life. All her life she had lived in a small backwaters town where the biggest thing that happens if an Indian raid, or when the crops are ready for harvest. Some people might like it, but she is tired of it. Then one day a young gunslinger blows into town, and her visions of adventure are changed into a rolling tide of emotions.
