Prologue

Werewolves have ruled Earth since 2460, when they won the fourth World War. Vasilisa, Sil, is a human. Malcolm is the Alpha King of the entire Earth, with everyone obeying his rules with by just using one of his fingers. Sil has been a slave working in the Royal Werewolf Castle ever since she was 8, when she witnessed the Alpha King decapitate her parents. She hates werewolves, especially the King. Malcolm hates humans. When Sil finds out King Malcolm is her mate, she is taken to his chambers, Malcolm begging her for forgiveness. Vasilisa denies his apology, and becomes even more afraid of him. Will Malcolm be able to win Vasilisa over, or will he only become the first mateless Alpha King?
