Awakening

Max and Ash are grocery shopping when One Night Love Affair comes on over the grocery store PA system. This launches Max into an infodump about his headcanon about Bryan Adams's Reckless album.

Max and Ash's conversation is interspersed with the story of Chris, a physics student in 1990s Montreal. His love story follows the themes of four songs off the Reckless album: One Night Love Affair, Summer of 69, Run to You, and Heaven.

The Bryan Adams Cycle was written entirely on a dare.
