Description
Amy Bradbury has moved to Dyson, Florida with her best friend and law partner Laura Saylor, and her younger sister Judith Bradbury. They have taken a leap of faith to start their own law firm, which is located right off the main stretch of town. The three women have also moved into a small house with Amy's eight-year-old husky Apollo, who always seems to wind up in situations that make Amy call Dr. Caden Morris, the local vet. One day, Apollo gets a hold of chocolate before Amy can catch him, and she rushes him to the vet clinic where she meets Caden. They become close as Amy keeps visiting the clinic due to Apollo's curious nature. Eventually, Amy asks Caden out. Meanwhile, Laura is trying to get over her ex-fiance William Vance. She meets Mason Lee, a father trying to get full custody of his son Hudson Lee, who is currently living part-time with his alcoholic mother Summer Gibson. As Amy becomes Mason's lawyer, Laura builds a relationship with Hudson and feels connected to Mason's fight due to her own experience growing up. Judith, on the other hand, has been feeling the pressure from her parents to succeed in life like her sister Amy. She heads to the Lincoln Bar with the girls for the first time and sings Girls Just Want to Have Fun on karaoke night. Felix Dawson, the bar owner, becomes bound and determined to win her over. As Mason's trial comes to an end and he wins full custody of his son, Laura and Mason finally act on the spark between them. Meanwhile, Judith begins to trust Felix and finds out he's a good man. The three women have found success in their business and love lives in Dyson, Florida.
